I’ll be volunteering at the Owls Head Transportation Museum’s Fly-In, a fundraiser for their 1940s de Havilland Tiger Moth restoration project.
“Bring the whole family for a sky-high adventure at the Owls Head Transportation Museum! Stroll the flight line, get up close to vintage aircraft, and explore our one-of-a-kind aviation collection.
Enjoy free burgers and hot dogs, tour our brand-new aviation hangar, and check out the Tiger Moth Restoration Station, where you can see the careful craftsmanship behind our 1940s de Havilland Tiger Moth restoration project.
And yes—biplane rides are back! Experience the thrill of open-air flight in a vintage aircraft. Rides are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability, so arrive early!
Perfect for aviation buffs and curious kids alike, this high-flying day supports our Tiger Moth Restoration Project.”
